NHS staff survey results show that we have an engaged and motivated team

Published: 9th March 2018

At Central London Community Trust, we achieved an above average engagement score in relation to other comparable trusts in the NHS according to the national NHS Staff Survey results published on Tuesday 6 March 2018.

The Trust achieved a score of 3.89 (on a scale of 1-5) for staff engagement, compared to a national average of 3.78, for ‘community trusts’. Staff feel able to make suggestions and improvements at work and have opportunities to show initiative in their role

Staff are motivated at work and satisfaction with the quality and care they are able to deliver also scored a 4.04 which is higher than the national average for community trusts.

Whilst the majority of our results were above average, there are areas of concern that we need to address. We will work energetically with colleagues across the whole organisation to address any concerns raised and make CLCH an even better place to work for everyone.

Andrew Ridley, Chief Executive, says: “Staff at CLCH go above and beyond, sometimes even in extremely trying conditions, to provide exceptional care for the patients and communities we serve.  This is a great opportunity to acknowledge and thank the team for making CLCH a great place to work.”
