New sexual health service to open near Clapham Junction

160-falcon-road-street-plate.jpgSexual Health South West London is opening a new purpose-built centre on the 1st floor of 160 Falcon Road, next to Clapham Junction station.

The new clinic will offer high quality, confidential, fully integrated sexual health and contraception services, operating Monday - Saturday. There will also be a gay men's clinic (including MSM – services for men who have sex with men), a young person's clinic and IUD/IUS/implant fitting.

new-building-from-platform.jpgClapham will be the centre of Sexual Health South West London’s (SHSWL) services for the boroughs of Merton, Richmond and Wandsworth – with satellite clinics operating in Mitcham, Twickenham and Wimbledon.

Dr Joanne Medhurst, Medical Director, Central London Community Healthcare Trust, said: “It’s just over a year since we began working in partnership with Merton, Richmond and Wandsworth councils – as well as the doctors, nurses and support staff who provide the healthcare. 

“All are committed to delivering a highly professional service providing the best care for local people.”
