Our oral health promotion team is a dedicated team of dental care professionals with additional qualifications in oral health education, health promotion and public health, and teaching.
Our team work in partnership with council, local authorities, School Health Partnership, Public Health England, other health professionals and communities to deliver joined up care to meet the needs of better oral health.
Our team deliver evidence based oral health advice and implements interactive oral health improvement programmes at schools, children centres, community centres and care homes.
The oral health promotion team works with children and families, homeless, older people and vulnerable adults and children who live in Barnet, Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster and require education to improve their oral health.
Our oral health promotion team actively engage local health events and aim to widely spread the key messages across the boroughs, minimising the chances of suffering oral diseases.
We also provide training to other health professionals and support them to give the best consistent advice to their service users.
