What is membership?

What is membership?

More than 8,000 people have signed up to become public members of Central London Community Healthcare as we move toward becoming a foundation trust.  Becoming an NHS foundation trust will mean that we will have greater managerial and financial freedoms and be accountable to our members through an elected body, the Council of Governors.

Only by involving our patients, partners, our staff, who also make up our membership, and the public can we be sure we are developing services and making improvements based on what matters to you.

As a member, you will be given the opportunity to have your say, see your contributions make a difference, vote to elect governors and stand for election to the Council of Governors to represent the views of members.

Benefits of membership

  • Receive copies of our @CLCH newsletters
  • Be invited to free health events
  • Have a say in what we do
  • Be consulted on our future plans.

What can I do as a member?

Membership is free.  As a member, you can:

  • attend open days, seminars and events
  • take part in focus groups and surveys
  • become actively involved in our work and help shape our future plans
